My Story 

Jafar is the Owner and Chief Physiotherapist at Princess Street Physiotherapy and Loyalist Family Physiotherapy in Amherstview, as well as

co-owner of Bayridge Physiotherapy. With over 26 years of clinical experience, he has completed his training in both India and Canada, bringing a diverse and comprehensive approach to patient care. 
 

He is deeply committed to supporting his patients throughout their recovery journey and takes great pride in helping them achieve their health and functional goals. His passion, clinical expertise, and innovative approach have contributed to the development of an integrative physiotherapy practice in Kingston.

Jafar utilizes a wide range of advanced manual therapy techniques, including spinal and peripheral joint manipulation, muscle energy techniques, myofascial release, joint mobilization, sports taping, and dry needling. He also develops individualized therapeutic exercise programs tailored to each patient’s specific needs and conditions.
 

A strong advocate of patient education, Jafar emphasizes preventative care and self-management strategies to support long-term recovery and overall well-being. His clinical expertise includes the treatment of headaches, neck and back pain, temporomandibular joint (TMJ) disorders, peripheral joint dysfunction, and trauma-related injuries.
 

He has completed advanced training in various manual therapy approaches and has further specialized knowledge in TMJ dysfunction, concussion management, and musculoskeletal conditions. Throughout his career, he has also had the privilege of treating distinguished individuals, including the former President of India, R. Venkataraman, as well as various athletes.
 

In addition to his clinical practice, Jafar has contributed to the profession as a clinical instructor and supervisor for physiotherapy students and residents, sharing his knowledge and supporting the development of future physiotherapists.
 

Outside of work, he enjoys spending time with his family, traveling, playing badminton, coaching basketball, and socializing with friends.
